Unlocked content - Confirmation screen
by Philippa Bandurek BradburyIn Unlocked content, the PhD is mapped as playable terrain. Literature reviews, ethics submissions, failed focus groups, collaboration, financial strain, and confirmation points form a route that resembles a game board. Advancement is staged and conditional, and repetition becomes part of the rhythm. Research unfolds as something navigated over time, shaped by rules and returns, with the next level already forming as the current one resolves.

Cyrhaeddiad Bregus - Fragile Reach (2025)
by Mx.D.PHow can we reach out, embodying the difficult, often painful connections to forge new understanding between communities. Community, here, is not seamless or easy, it is raw, marked by struggle and vulnerability. Entangle to speak true to the courage required to reach for each other, even when the bonds are imperfect or bruised. Through visceral form, this work responds to the call for solidarity by acknowledging the real, messy work of coming together. It honours the resilience found in community and the joy that emerges when we persist, despite hardship, in building connection.

2050:2100
by Mx.D.PDriven by the impending Geopolitical Climate chaos of biome degradation, resource scarcity, mass migration and societal collapse. ‘Predicting an exact date is highly complex and uncertain… …2050 to 2100 catastrophic impacts on global ecosystems and human societies.’ A film and AI performance. ‘Our Struggle’ an ironic ‘Mein Kampf’, reveals process paintings of Kindness. The outrageous Trans Fascist costume of Mx D.P. in tribute to Leigh Bowery’s struggle of trans-human expression. The Banners of Kindness, feature printed Trans body-parts. By refusing the separation of human and environment, body and biome, a provocative reclamation of iconography; trans-narrative happens. Urine, spit, re-cycled fashion, glitter, acrylic paint, and A.I., the work questions what is considered waste or excusable resource. This work is witness to the consumption of creation, voyeur becomes participant in an evolving network, to become everyone, everywhere. A call for Creative Kindness to respond to climate chaos with creativity, solidarity, and the unruly hope of making otherwise.

Thanemaltel
by Elis LloydThanemaltel (2025), acrylic pen on canvas, emerges as a ritual invocation—an invitation to stand at the threshold where sea and psyche dissolve. The ocean, infinite archive, refracts our innermost fractures without apology; it is the primordial mirror, holding memory and forgetting in the same breath. Here, the surface becomes a liminal membrane, coaxing us to unmoor from the calcified sediment of the past, to let wisdom and folly drift as flotsam. In creating Thanemaltel, I inhabit the endless loop of self-revelation: a Möbius strip of undoing and becoming, where judgement evaporates and only the pulse of intuition remains. The work’s fluid marks and organic forms generate a psychic cartography—nature’s patterns bleeding into the topography of mind, mapping chaos and clarity in equal measure.Thought is cacophony: a collision of fragments, collapsing into the hush of the unprimed canvas. In that silence, self-awareness reveals itself as both shield and aperture—a gesture of feral compassion against the anaesthetic of escape.Nature is not backdrop but sentient cocoon, roaring its silent demand for reciprocity. I camouflage within its embrace, my vulnerability rendered spectral, my agony diffused into pattern. Thanemaltel is both mask and revelation, a testament to the exquisite strangeness of singular existence within the collective dream of the wild.
